LEGO Technic: Mini Backhoe Loader (42004) Exploration


Jaystepher presents Lego Technic Mini Backhoe Loader. Set number 42004, contains 246 pieces, contains 246 pieces, and recommended for ages 8 to 14. So this is the backhoe. Looks like all of the movements that the backhoe does. Telehandler. So this is the 2 in 1 build. So this is what you got to do. Alright, Let’s open it up. Look at all those parts in there. Oh, a somewhat folded instruction manual. Oh, a somewhat folded instruction manual. A bag of elements and ties. Large rubber tires. There’s the bucket or scoop. There’s the bucket or scoop. Another instruction manual. And another rubber tire. A bag of various Technic Bricks. It looks our last rubber tire. Nothing else in the box. Looks like we get a great assortment of parts. First of the two builds is the Telehandler. Very solid rigid construction. I like the use of the tires, they all move independently. Here’s where the operator sits, right in here. Here is the steering. Here is the steering. The wheels do turn so we can drive our telehandler around. It does roll free. It does roll free. Simply, turn this little knob here, Simply, turn this little knob here, we can raise and lower the boom. It does drop down, and raise back up. Here’s our tipping shovel. Simply grab this. So you can either have the shovel down or up. Scoop up all those extra Lego lying around. It’s a really great build It’s a really great build for it being the first model. The second of the two builds is the Mini Backhoe Loader. We got our shovel, and our boom with dipper. Let’s take a close look. Very solid rigid construction. The large tires. There’s where the operator sits, right up in there. You got your steering wheel. Let’s look at some of the controls. This one here at the top is the steering, so I can steer the dipper around, and it does roll free. It glides nice. This one here raises and lowers the shovel. And this knob here lowers the bucket. You can lower it all the way down to scoop up all those extra Lego. You can lower it all the way down to scoop up all those extra Lego. Take a look at the dipper here. Take a look at the dipper here. This little knob here brings the boom up and down. This one here extends the arm out This one here extends the arm out where you can scoop, and the little dipper here, this moves manually. and the little dipper here, this moves manually. So it’s fully adjustable. This is fully playable. This is fully playable. Many hours of play time. So this is the Mini Backhoe Loader. So this is the Mini Backhoe Loader. Great solid build.     with 2 worm gears im sure technic could had done better with the alternative model, well i would had done it. with that i mean a working bucket tilting mechanism
